Our doctor is a lifelong learner. Not only has he received advanced medical training in both internal medicine and pediatrics, he continually pursues ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest in child and adult health care, as well as obesity management.

Dr. Yazen Joudeh grew up in New Orleans and graduated from the University of Chicago, majoring in the Biological Sciences and Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations. He then got his medical degree at Louisiana State University in New Orleans, after which he completed a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Illinois at Chicago. His interests in primary care and preventative medicine and passion for nutrition and weight management inspired him to open his practice in 2012. He is triple board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Obesity Management. He is also a member of the Obesity Medicine Association and a founding member of the Illinois Obesity Society.
Karie earned her Masters of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Saint Louis University in 2010. She has worked in Primary Care since 2011. She has a special interest in weight management and received a Certificate of Advanced Education in Weight Management from the Obesity Medicine Association. She also is a member of the Illinois Obesity Society.
Cheryl earned her Masters of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Saint Louis University in 2009. She then worked in Pediatric Primary Care for 10 years followed by Family Medicine Primary Care for 3 years. She is passionate about weight management and is working towards obtaining a Certificate of Advanced Education in Weight Management through the Obesity Medicine Association. She is a member of the Obesity Medicine Association and the Illinois Obesity Society.
